Donna's Eatery Reviews
As a gluten free person, I had a great experience here. I was tempted to remove a star because they don't advertise gluten free option and it isn't on the menu. They have gluten free dough for pizza and bread for subs and sandwiches. The portions are quite large and the food was excellent!
A Cozy Spot for the Whole Family—with Great Food and a Sweet Surprise! We came to Donna’s Eatery as a family of six, and it was such a great experience from start to finish! The place has a relaxed, welcoming vibe, and the staff made us feel right at home. You seat yourself and order at the counter, which worked perfectly for our group. The food was amazing—huge portions and full of flavor. I had the clubhouse sandwich (so good!), and others in the family tried different burgers. Everyone left full and happy. And the best part? They surprised us with free dessert for the table! It was such a thoughtful touch and made the visit even more memorable. Prices were fair, especially considering the portion sizes, and the service was fast and friendly. Whether you're with family or just grabbing a bite solo, Donna’s is a great spot for comfort food done right. Highly recommend—we’ll definitely be back!
I have been here twice. The food is very good, service is very friendly and fast. This time I had the beef dip. The portion was huge and is one of the best I have had. I had the pizza previously and it was very tasty as well. I will definitely return. I have recommended Donna’s to many friends!
My wife brought my family here today. I had the fish and chips good portion side and flavour. My kids had the pizza and it was really cheesy. My wife had a bacon sandwich... it was massive. The sandwich was so good. The staff was so friendly and on top of everything. We will come back.
I went here today for the first time. The place was clean the staff were great at cleaning the tables right away after customers left. They were helpful, friendly and down to earth. We ordered two meals. The beef dip with fries (it wasn’t too bad). I’m just picky. The turkey club sub and that was great the only problem I had with that is that the bun was a bit dry. The beef barley soup was great. I accidentally dropped a glass bottle and both gentlemen were there instantly to help. They were great, we also had some good laughs with them. Thanks again. We will be back! This douchebag loves it.
Would recommend, would bring friends and family. I could only eat half my deliciously prepared food. My friends were in the same boat. The room was filled with blue collar working men. They did not speak, they ate, grunted and smiled. What more do I need to say? See u there.
Was very good food, lunch looked amazing as it was served to the next table. We had the all day breakfast and was very good. Only issue was the fans were blowing a lot so the food gets cold fast. Better than 25 degrees lol
Wow, what a restaurant. The portions are crazy, I got the Marty's big breakfast, and it certainly lived up to its name. This place DOES NOT skimp on the quality, from the cooking to the ingredients. Good full sized buttered up toast, big juicy sasuages, and well cooked eggs. Bacon was a little too crunchy for my liking, but WOW was it numerous. I dont really eat too much ham, but im sure ham lovers would like this. The meat pizza I got was also fantastic, pretty thick and tasty. And the service was absolutely wonderful, these are the kind of staff you WANT to tip and not just out of tipping culture obligation. I will definitely be coming here again. And again. And again. Edit: I came here again and got a Bacon burger with poutine and my compainion got the clubhouse sandwich. The burger was pretty big. The meat was tasty and steaming, the bun was good, but it was doused in mustard which kind of ruined it. The poutine fries were well cooked, but the gravy was very subpar, like it was sitting out for a while. Not worth to be honest. I was told the clubhouse was tasty, it was definitely huge for sure. I will stick to the breakfast next time.
